Venting: Medias
I have a problem with some corporate media (Those who have Sun News and Fox News mainly.) I’ll put it under a read more.
Some say that what they do is called journalism. Really?! Really?! How can you call that journalism when it’s not? I have a problem with that.
It is not journalism. It’s is propaganda. You choose and side and you stick to it. An example: Fox News being Republican to the maximum and making critiques about anything else. Obama does a health care reform? Fox News response: We are loosing money.
My future job is nothing taking sides, I think we are wanting the only benefit of the citizens who we work for. A friend of my parents said: We, journalist, are the ears, the eyes and the mouth of the people. You gotta have big ears to hear, big eyes to see and a big mouth to tell what you heard and saw. What they (at Fox) do is basically formating news, not giving the right information and sometimes taking the small details and making them huge.
My mom says that I have no right to talk about them (well the media here in Quebec mostly) because I might as well work for them (hope not) and that I should stop. I’ll stop around her but censoring my opinion does not mean I do not have one.
If you do listen to those medias and then broadcast the information you get from them, I am sorry if you take this the wrong way, but I do not like how they are and what news they generate.
That being said, sorry for the rant.
